Privacy Policy

This policy explains which data the DaviPlayer app (TV, TV box, phone and computer) and the daviplayer.com website use, what for, and how you can ask for it to be removed.

What DaviPlayer is

DaviPlayer is a video player app. It does not sell or include any content.

Data the app stores on your device

• The username and password you type to log in, stored in the system's secure vault when available, and used only for you to sign in to the app.
• Your preferences, favorites, watch history and the point where you stopped, stored only on the device.

Data sent to our system

To control the trial period and the app license, the app sends to our system:

• a device identifier (generated by the app), the device type, model and app version;
• on LG and Samsung TVs: the TV's MAC address (Wi-Fi and cable), stored only as an irreversible code (hash), so the same TV is recognized if it is factory reset and you do not lose your license;
• the address (IP) used on the first connection, only to prevent abuse of the free trial;
• when you activate the license on the website: your WhatsApp number and the device code.

We do not use advertising or tracking (analytics) tools in the app, and we do not sell data.

Site questions chat

The site chat (the conversation button in the corner of the screen) uses artificial intelligence to answer questions about DaviPlayer. The messages you write are kept for up to 90 days, along with an identifier of your browser and an encoded version (hash) of your IP, used only against abuse. The conversation text is sent to Anthropic, the company that offers the AI service, only to generate the answers. Do not write passwords, card data or documents in the chat.

Your name and WhatsApp are only saved if you tap "Leave my WhatsApp" and send. In that case, the conversation is kept for up to 12 months and we use the contact to talk to you about DaviPlayer. You can ask for deletion at any time through the contact below.

Payments

Payments are made on the pages of payment companies (Mercado Pago, Stripe or PayPal). We never see or store card numbers. We only receive the payment confirmation, the amount and the plan.

Who we share it with

Payment companies handle the payment data. We use the Supabase platform to store license data. We do not share your data with anyone else, except when required by law.

How long we keep it

License data is kept while the device uses the app and for the time needed to meet legal obligations. Device data (favorites, history, login) stays only on it and is erased when you sign out or uninstall the app.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction or deletion of your data, and have your device removed from our records, in accordance with Brazil's LGPD (Law 13,709/2018). To do so, contact us using the details below.

Children

The app is not directed at children. It has a parental control that hides adult categories.
